Vensatra was an elf girl born in a tiny village near Candlekeep. Her proximity to Candlekeep had triggered her thirst for knowledge when she was young. She would often go to the walls of Candlekeep and offer them the little knowledge she had learned to get inside. The wizards of Candlekeep saw great potential in her and took her in to train her. During her studies, Vensatra studied the gods and their deeds with great fascination. She was intrigued by Lathander and read all the information she could find about him. and eventually she put herself in Lathander's path. she became a paladin. She set out in search of a shield, and when she came to Elturel, she realized that the city had suddenly descended into hell. she is now a guardian of light in Avernus, trying to save the cities.
